Project Scope

UGBS – Myanmar successfully delivered the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification Project for CHID Bank. The scope included preparing the bank for full compliance with ISO standards and guiding the organization through the complete certification process.

Importantly, CHID Bank became the first bank in Myanmar to receive ISO 9001:2015 QMS certification, setting a national benchmark for quality management in the banking sector.

CHID Bank formally recognized UGBS – Myanmar’s contribution through an official Appreciation Letter dated 18 September 2025, issued by the Chief Executive Officer.

In the letter, CHID Bank highlighted UGBS – Myanmar’s role in consulting, advising, preparing documentation, and coordinating the certification process, stating that UGBS – Myanmar’s support played a critical role in the successful completion of the ISO certification project.

The letter further emphasized that the guidance provided enhanced the bank’s operational efficiency, service quality, and reputation, and described the certification as a shared achievement between both organizations.
