The Cyprus Registrar of Companies has announced that all companies incorporated or registered under the Companies Law, Cap. 113, all European Public Limited Liability Companies (SE), and Partnerships are required to confirm the details of their Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) in the UBO Register.

- Confirmation Period: 1 October 2025 – 31 December 2025
Required Action:
All relevant entities must log into the UBO Register and confirm their UBO information, senior management details, or perform due diligence, as applicable, within the specified timeframe.
Penalties for Non-Compliance:
Failure to confirm the required information by 31 December 2025 will result in a financial penalty of €100 for the first day of non-compliance, and €50 for each additional day, up to a maximum of €5,000.
